7 Trends for weddings in 2025

Top 7 Wedding Trends for 2025 That Will Have Everyone Talking

Weddings in 2025 are shaping up to be more creative, fun, and guest-focused than ever before. As a DJ entertainment company, we’ve seen firsthand how these trends take celebrations to the next level. Whether you're planning your big day or helping a friend, these top 7 wedding trends will keep the party vibe high and the memories unforgettable.

1. Wedding Content Creators

Move over, traditional videographers! Enter wedding content creators—social-savvy pros capturing Instagram reels, TikToks, and candid moments in real-time. They bring your wedding day to life online, ensuring your guests (and followers) can relive the magic. They also have a much quicker turnaround time.

2. Disco Head Dancers

Yes, you read that right—dancers with sparkly disco balls for heads are here to steal the show! These quirky performers light up the dance floor (literally) and bring a retro-futuristic vibe to your reception. Expect epic photo ops and a guaranteed dance party.

3. Cannoli Guys

Who needs a cake cutting when you can have a Cannoli Guy? These charming dessert vendors roll in with fresh, customizable cannolis, giving your guests a sweet treat with flair. Bonus: they’re totally Insta-worthy!

4. The Private first dance (the right way)

While we do appreciate some of the trends that come about from Tik Tok, we hate to say it but, New Jersey just does it better!! So a viral trend came about with this private dance with the bride and groom in an empty room after the wedding reception is over. We are sorry but this is just absolutely logistically awful. First, you have to kick all of your guests out of the ballroom. Second, you probably have a decent buzz going and are all sweaty. (Do ya really want pictures of this?) So do it our way, before the reception starts!! You get a chance to practice your dance, with hair and makeup in optimal formation. Then if you booked indoor sparklers, you could pose for a picture together with a dip perfectly centered on your dancefloor. It's so hard to get this picture perfect live during your first dance...this leaves you worry free during the actual first dance and just makes it much easier and more natural.

5. Live Saxophone or Percussion Fusion

Picture this: your DJ is spinning your favorite track, and suddenly, a live saxophonist or percussionist jumps in, adding an electric layer of energy to the music. This fusion of live and recorded entertainment brings a unique, interactive vibe to any wedding.

6. London-Style Phone Booths for Voice Messages

Say goodbye to traditional guestbooks and hello to charming London-style phone booths where guests can leave voice messages for the bride and groom. It’s a fun way to capture heartfelt words—and maybe even a few hilarious ones—from your loved ones.

7. Digital RSVPs Over Snail Mail

In 2025, couples are going digital for RSVPs. Not only is it eco-friendly, but it’s also way more convenient for everyone. From interactive wedding websites to RSVP texts, technology is making wedding planning easier than ever.

These trends are all about adding personality, fun, and modern twists to timeless wedding traditions. As a DJ company, we love working with couples to bring their vision to life—especially when it involves such creative ideas!

BONUS TREND

Dedicating the mother of the bride the bouquet. You might have caught it when we wrote our top wedding trends of 2022 (we were so spot on btw) but the bouquet toss is a thing of the past. The bride's mother does so much to help her bride to be plan almost everything so props must be given where they are due. Mom, this ones for you!! The bride says a short speech to mom thanking her and dedicating the bouquet.

Which of these trends are you planning to include in your big day? Let us know in the comments!
