Top 10 Funny Party Games # 1
Bite the Bag

This fun party game is Hilarious! It is played the opposite of the traditional limbo game. Players place their hands behind their backs and take turns reaching down to pick up a brown paper sack with nothing but their mouth. After every round you cut off or fold down another inch or so from the bag.I had to include this Bite the bag how to video because, well, it’s just funny.

THE RULES: simple, nothing but your mouth can be used to pick up the box and nothing but your feet can touch the floor. If a player breaks a rule they are out of the competition. To make it harder some people play where you have to be holding one foot off the ground while you “bite the bag”.

Other people have also used empty cereal boxes to play this game if they could not find a brown paper sack.

Psychiatrist!

This is a great party game to play with a group of people that know each other well. One person is designated the psychiatrist and must leave the room. Everyone left is a patient, and they are afflicted with a horrible ailment: They believe they are someone else in the room! To decide who will be who, the group must come up with a pattern. For example: everyone will think they are the person to their left.

After everyone knows who’s who, the psychiatrist comes back in the room. The goal of the psychiatrist is figure out the pattern. He/She can ask questions of any patient, and that patient must answer all the questions as the person they are impersonating. This is a great way for people to find out how well they know one another.

If a patient answers the psychiatrist’s question incorrectly, the person they’re impersonating should yell “Psychiatrist!” and everybody should run around and switch places, mixing up who is who, but keeping the pattern the same. Continue playing this way until the psychiatrist figures out the pattern. Then a new psychiatrist and a new pattern are chosen.

Some other patterns that can be used:
the person three places to your right
the person across from you
the closest person of the opposite sex to your right

   Blindman’s Swag

For this game players divide into couples.  One partner in each couple is blindfolded.  You will need to MAKE SURE that no one can peek or it would ruin the game.  You will also need to make sure that you have plenty of space and nothing breakable in the playing area. All the couples start on one side of the playing area.  After the partners are blindfolded reveal the swag. This can be a prize, a $10 bill, anything that will get players excited.

Now the players that are not blindfolded must remain where they stand and  lead their partners to the prize using only their words (no touching) . the goal is to be the first to grab the swag of course, but the hilarity of watching the players try and get there will be laughed about for years.

   Quirk Alert Bingo

How predictable is your friend’s behavior? Find out in this fun twist on bingo. This game is best at parties where the guest already know each other. When guest arrive hand them all a blank bingo card (you can mark the space in the middle as free). They are to fill in each square themselves based on what they think the other guests will do at the party. Examples:

  • Jack will brag about his new car
  • Linda will flirt with Mark
  • Brett will make an inappropriate joke using a banana
  • Rachel will drink an apple martini
  • Ted will start a sentence with “actually”

During the party everyone can mark off their cards if the predication occurs. The first one to get a bingo calls it out and wins a prize. You can continue playing to see if someone fills up their entire card, or count to see has the most predictions right at the end of the party.

   Tag n’ Bag

This is a great game that can be played throughout your party. All you need is a clothes pin, a bag, slips of paper, and an imagination.

One guest is given a clothes pin at the beginning of the party.  Their goal is to discreetly clip it on to someone else’s person. Afterward they walk away and call out ” Tag’m and Bag’m”.  Everyone then starts a countdown from 5 as they search frantically to see if they were the one tagged.  If the tagged person doesn’t pull off the clothes pin before the countdown is finished then they must reach into the bag of fate.

The bag of fate contains fun penalities, challenges, or dares that the the person must complete. It is then their turn to be the tagger. If the person does find the pin it time the the original tagger must draw from the bag of fate, and they remail the tagger.  Taggers can pass off the tagging duty to another player so that everyone doesn’t know who the tagger is, but they are still the one’s who have to take the penalty if the person find their tag.
